Amy Bethan Dodds is a Lecturer in Anatomy at Keele University since 2021. She holds a BSc Biomedical Science (Hons) and MSc Human Anatomy with Education from the University of Sheffield. Her research focuses on gamification strategies for anatomy education and the application of generative AI in creating formative assessment tools for healthcare students.
Teaching responsibilities include gross human anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology across undergraduate/postgraduate programs, including medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, and paramedic science. She leads Unit 14 (sensorimotor systems) for the MBChB program and serves as an Academic Mentor for first/second-year MBChB students.

- Designing games to enhance holistic anatomy revision
- Using laminated anatomical drawings (anARTomy) to foster student knowledge construction
- Evaluating generative AI's role in student self-study scaffolding
