Larimer is a multidisciplinary dance/theater artist and certified yoga teacher with a focus on improvisation. She is the founder of The Raving Jaynes: Improvised Dance Theater, which merges improvisational dance and theater techniques.
Her academic contributions include publications in The Journal of Dance Education and The Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, exploring connections between improvisation and pedagogy. Larimer's career spans international touring with Nicholas Leichter Dance and collaborations with notable artists like Clare Byrne and Beth Portnoy, including choreography for the dance film Gyre-ation.
