Amitabh Chandra

Dr. Amitabh Chandra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Johns Hopkins University and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Maimonides Medical Center and a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at NYU/Bellevue. Dr. Chandra currently serves as the Emergency Ultrasound Director at Bon Secours Baltimore.

His publications span emergency ultrasound applications in diagnosing acute coronary syndrome, abdominal pain, and pediatric urolithiasis. These works emphasize improving diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency in emergency settings.

Dr. Chandra has lectured nationally and internationally on point-of-care ultrasonography and contributes to emergency department operations and administration.
