Amit Das

Dr. Amit Das is a Senior Lecturer in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Swansea University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on solidification processing, ultrasonic grain refinement, and additive manufacturing of metallic alloys, particularly aluminum and magnesium systems. He supervises postgraduate research projects and teaches modules on microstructure evolution, computational materials science, and practical metallurgical techniques.
