Amit Bhatt, M.D., F.A.A.P., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and Director of the Medical Student Rotation in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Texas Children's Hospital. He specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), adult strabismus, and medical student education. His research focuses on VEGF-inhibitors in severe ROP treatment, and he leads Texas Children’s Hospital’s ROP screening program and emergency pediatric ophthalmology consultation services.
