Amit Almor

Amit Almor is Associate Professor in Psychology and Director of the Experimental Psychology Program at the University of South Carolina. His research examines language processing using neuroimaging, with focus on discourse reference, aging, and dementia.

Key investigations include neural mechanisms of pronoun/anaphor processing, spatial language cognition, and conversational interference effects. Clinical work explores linguistic markers in Alzheimer's and Huntington's disease.
