Amira Hamdy Morrtaga Ibrahim is a doctoral researcher in Egyptology at the University of Lille, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and History Department. Her thesis focuses on the Gate of the Serapeum of Memphis (Louvre N 420), analyzing graffiti and their historical-religious context. Supervised by Emeritus Professor Didier Devauchelle (University of Lille) and General Curator Hélène Guichard (Louvre Museum), her work bridges academic research and museum studies.
Her research interests include Egyptology, Ancient History, Archaeology, and Religious Studies, with a specific emphasis on cultural heritage and epigraphy. She is associated with the HALMA Laboratory (UMR 8164) and engages in interdisciplinary collaborations between universities and cultural institutions.
