Amir Moradi is Professor for Implementation Security at TU Darmstadt. His research focuses on hardware security with emphasis on side-channel analysis, fault injection attacks, and secure implementation of cryptographic primitives.
Key research areas include:
- Development of countermeasures against physical attacks
- Efficient cryptographic implementations for constrained devices
- Hardware Trojan detection and prevention
- Automated verification of secure hardware designs
Professor Moradi has received numerous awards including the IEEE S&P Distinguished Paper Award (2023), German IT Security Award (2022), and CHES Best Paper Award (2019). He serves on program committees of major security conferences including CHES, EUROCRYPT, and ASIACRYPT.
