Amir Mahboubi Soufiani

Amir Mahboubi Soufiani is a faculty member at the University of Borås, affiliated with the Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business and the Department of Resource Recycling and Community Development. As Program Manager for two Master's programs—Resource Recycling in Biotechnology and Bioeconomy, and Polymeric Materials for the Circular Economy—he leads academic initiatives in sustainable resource management. His research focuses on biotechnology applications in waste valorization, particularly in lignocellulosic bioethanol production and anaerobic digestion systems.
