Amir Fam is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Queen's University, Canada. He holds the Donald and Sarah Munro Chair in Engineering and Applied Science and serves as the Vice-Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. His expertise lies in structural engineering, particularly using fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) and bio-based composites for new construction and retrofitting aging infrastructure. He has authored over 130 journal papers, 115 conference papers, and multiple books.
