Amelie Wang

Amelie Wang is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting at the Art Department of St Mary’s College of Maryland. Born in Hebei, China, in 1997, she has resided in the United States since 2014 and earned her MFA in 2024 from the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Her work has been exhibited at prominent venues including the C. Grimaldis Gallery (Baltimore), Chilli Art Project (London), Southampton History Museum (New York), and Jacob Lawrence Gallery (Seattle). She was awarded the Hoffberger Foundation Fellowship and Graduate Merit Scholarship during her studies.
