Amelia Mutter

Amelia Mutter is a Researcher and Teacher at the Division of Environmental Communication, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). She holds a PhD in Technology and Social Change from Linköping University (201X), where her dissertation examined fossil fuel-free future imaginaries through biogas and electric vehicle case studies in Sweden. Her current research focuses on future-oriented environmental governance, particularly in digital forestry and genomic technologies, emphasizing the co-constitution of technology and emotion-driven imaginaries. She explores contested knowledge claims in 'post-truth' contexts through participatory dialogue frameworks.

Teaching responsibilities include co-coordinating the 'Conflict, Democracy, and Facilitation' course and leading the Environmental Communication thesis process as coordinator of the thesis course and chair of the thesis examination committee.
