Amber Wesner

Amber Wesner is Chair and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Shenandoah University. A graduate of Shenandoah's Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, she completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Valley Health/Shenandoah University and holds teaching and leadership certificates. Her academic leadership includes developing pharmacy curricula and mentoring students.

Her professional expertise encompasses:

• Academic program development and administration
• Internal medicine pharmacotherapy
• Leadership training for healthcare professionals
• Clinical pharmacy education methodologies

Her honors include state-level recognition for new practitioners and excellence in precepting. She has participated in global health initiatives including a 2015 medical mission to Fiji.
