Amandine Hauer

Dr. Amandine Hauer is a Lecturer at the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG). She is affiliated with the Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Gdańsk, specifically within the Department of Molecular Biology of Viruses. Her research focuses on molecular and genomic analyses of Mycobacterium bovis, particularly in understanding its genetic diversity, epidemiology, and evolution in livestock and wildlife in France. Her work integrates genomic sequencing, molecular markers, and pathogen genotyping to track strains and inform disease control strategies.

Dr. Hauer’s research emphasizes the genetic variability and evolution of M. bovis strains, including studies on strain origins, transmission dynamics, and virulence mechanisms. Her contributions have provided insights into the molecular basis of tuberculosis outbreaks in both agricultural and wildlife contexts.
