Amanda Zarr

Amanda Zarr is a Lecturer in Acting Theatre at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts. She also teaches at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and CSArts in Duarte, CA, blending her professional acting and directing experience with academic instruction.

• Education: BFA from Chapman University; MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program (PATP) at the University of Washington.

Her research and creative work focus on theatrical performance, dramatic literature, and collaborative production. She has directed notable productions such as She Kills Monsters, Measure for Measure, and the upcoming online show Chance Encounters, which she produced, directed, and starred in.

Amanda collaborates with regional theaters and institutions, including Chance Theater (as a resident artist), Shakespeare Orange County, and guest artist roles at Ophelia’s Jump, Pensacola Shakespeare Company, and Need Theater of Los Angeles.
