Amanda Wolfe

Dr. Amanda Wolfe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University. She transitioned from clinical counseling to full-time academia in 2016, focusing on online pedagogy and excellence in teaching. A licensed professional counselor, she previously worked with children and adolescents in state custody but no longer sees clients.

Research Interests: Focuses on Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL), including online pedagogy and statistics anxiety mitigation. Explores human sexuality relationships, cyberpsychology, and counselor training methodologies. Utilizes mixed methods including program evaluation, survey design, qualitative, and quantitative analysis.

Teaching & Advising: Supervised numerous Honors Contracts/Projects and student research, including Capstone experiences. Teaches undergraduate courses like Abnormal Psychology, Human Sexuality, and graduate courses in Counseling Theory and Addiction. Specializes in online/hybrid modalities.
