Amanda Vanausdall

Amanda Vanausdall is an Assistant Educator of Music Education and Placement Coordinator at Wichita State University's College of Fine Arts, School of Music. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) and Master of Music Education (MME) in Special Music Education, along with OAKE Kodály certification, all from Wichita State University. Prior to her current role, she taught K-5 elementary music in the Wichita Public Schools from 2013 to 2022. She actively contributes to professional organizations, serving as Special Needs Co-Chair for the Kansas State Music Educators Association (KASMEA) and a member of the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) Equity Committee. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Wichita State University.
