Amanda Troy is the Inaugural Chair and Associate Professor of Anatomy at the Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. She teaches anatomy, embryology, histology, neuroanatomy, radiology, and ultrasound to medical and graduate students. Her roles include curriculum development, NBOME exam item creation, and directing preclinical education.

Her research interests focus on anatomy education innovation, public outreach programs to integrate anatomy into grade schools, and medical missions. She developed the Anatomy Teaching Fellowship at Liberty University and advises student organizations. Dr. Troy has served on institutional committees and mentored student research projects across multiple institutions.
She has held prior roles as Associate Professor and Director of Preclinical Education at Rocky Vista University, Assistant Professor at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Adjunct Professor at High Point University.
Dr. Troy actively participates in international medical missions to Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa, alongside her goal to visit all 50 U.S. states.
