Amanda Smith serves as Head of Continuing Professional Development and leads the STEM Education Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). She holds Chartered Science Teacher status and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Educational Assessors. Her career spans roles in secondary school science leadership, including Head of Science and development of innovative CPD programs. She previously directed the Science Learning Centre North West, funded by the DCSF and Wellcome Trust, and collaborates with regional stakeholders in STEM education.
