Amanda Maynard is a Professor of Psychology and Chair of the Division of Social Sciences at Marist College. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Bowling Green State University (1998), an MA in Psychology from the same institution, and a BA in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh. Her research focuses on adolescent development from a social-cognitive perspective, including prosocial decision-making, adolescent employment dynamics, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
