Dr Amanda Machell is a Research Fellow in Public Health at Flinders University, affiliated with the College of Medicine and Public Health and Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute. Her research focuses on child health and development, particularly addressing disparities in Indigenous health and school-based interventions. She manages NHMRC-funded projects improving ear and hearing health services for Aboriginal children in remote South Australia and studying activity patterns during school holidays.
