Amanda Katz

Dr. Amanda Katz is an Assistant Professor of U.S. History at Utah State University specializing in the history of science, technology, and environment. Her current research examines the development of American highway engineering in the early 20th century, with emphasis on rural infrastructure and transportation equity. She serves as a researcher for USU's ASPIRE Engineering Research Center, which focuses on sustainable roadway electrification.
