Amanda E Daly Berman

Amanda E. Daly Berman, Ph.D. (Ethnomusicology, Boston University, 2015), serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Music Department at Boston College. She has taught at multiple institutions including Boston University, Salem State University, and Wheaton College. Her research focuses on digital music consumption, Cape Breton diaspora communities in Boston, medical ethnomusicology, and music’s role in conflict and peace dynamics. She has performed extensively, including at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox and on an ESPN-broadcast NASCAR event. Her musical training spans vocal performance, piano, gamelan, violin, Irish fiddle, and Cape Breton fiddle.
