Amanda Bickell

Amanda Bickell is the Program Chair of the Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). With over 20 years of teaching experience, she employs a coaching pedagogy focused on empowering students through experiential learning and normalizing failure as part of the educational process. She is currently leading the revisioning of the Entrepreneurial Leadership (ENTR) program to emphasize modernization and student agency.

Her research explores entrepreneurial leadership development and pedagogical innovation, particularly through gamification strategies that allow self-paced progression. Key initiatives include redesigning business courses using game mechanics to replace traditional pass/fail models with competency-based advancement.
