Amanda Behr

Amanda Y. Behr, PhD, MA, CCA, CMI, FAMI, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Illustration at Augusta University's College of Allied Health Sciences. She holds dual certifications in Clinical Anaplastology and Medical Illustration, advancing innovations in healthcare visualization.

Her research focuses on 3D printing and scanning technologies in medicine, including DICOM data applications for surgical implants, anaplastology integration in transplant teams, and serious games for medical education. Publications span physiology visualization, interdisciplinary art exhibitions, and pandemic response design solutions like 3D-printed face shields.
