Alyson Young is a Lecturer at the School of Education, University of Aberdeen, serving as Programme Director for the one-year Professional Graduate Diploma in Primary Education. She has previously spent 15 years as a primary teacher in northeast Scotland.

She contributes to curriculum design through roles such as Modern Languages, Music, and Health & Wellbeing (HWB) Tutor and Course Coordinator for Health & Wellbeing in the MA Programme.
