Dr Alyson Mercer is a historian at the University of Exeter within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her work centers on modern Britain, with a focus on museums and public history, analyzing how individuals engage with institutional resources to construct meaning about their surroundings.
Her research spans gender history, socio-cultural studies of memory and representation, and community engagement.
