Altuğ Mert Sevim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on phthalocyanine chemistry, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), photodynamic therapy, and photocatalytic materials. He leads the active project Development of Phthalocyanine-Based Capacitors and Smart Clothing Application (2024–2026). His work spans over 37 publications from 2006–2025, with notable contributions to solar cell efficiency, cancer therapy, and organic-inorganic hybrid materials.
