Alper Şen

Alper Şen is a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey. He previously worked at Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly Motorola SPS) in Austin, TX, and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on software dependability and system verification.

He leads the Dependable Systems Group (DSG) and is affiliated with the Computer Architecture and Systems Laboratory (CASLAB). Recent courses taught include CmpE 589 (Software Testing and Verification), CmpE 240 (Digital Systems), and CmpE 436 (Concurrent and Distributed Programming).
