Alper İşoğlu

Alper İşoğlu is an Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Abdullah Gül University, Kayseri, Turkey, since 2012. His academic career includes prior roles as a Researcher/Project Assistant at Hacettepe University and international research visits to the University of Tampere (2006) and University of Pisa (2008-2009).

His research focuses on biomaterials and tissue engineering, particularly biodegradable polymers, electrospinning, and 3D scaffold design. He has also contributed to intellectual property rights in biomedical technologies.

Recent publications highlight work in polymer synthesis, drug-loaded scaffolds, and bone tissue engineering using rat models. Collaborations span institutions like Yıldız Technical University and EU-funded projects.

Professional experience includes roles as a Patent Engineer at Arçelik A.Ş. (2011) and freelance Patent Attorney (2006-2010), where he prepared over 60 patent applications.
