Allyson L. Dir

Dr. Allyson L. Dir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine. She holds dual roles as a faculty researcher in the Adolescent Behavioral Health Research Program and a clinical psychologist at the Addiction Treatment & Recovery Center, IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Her research targets substance use disorders in adolescents and young adults, with specialized focus on co-occurring mental health conditions. This work integrates clinical practice with research to develop improved therapeutic interventions for vulnerable populations.
