Dr. Allysha Winburn is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at University of West Florida and Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Anthropology. Her research examines skeletal manifestations of structural inequality and develops analytical frameworks for forensic contexts.
Research innovations include the Structural Vulnerability Profile (SVP) framework that documents embodied social inequity through skeletal biomarkers. Other work validates skeletal aging methods and analyzes taphonomic patterns in forensic cases.
