About
Allyce Counsell is a Lecturer in General Practice at the General Practice Clinical School, part of the Sydney Medical School (University of Sydney). She holds a BMedSc, BSc(Hons), MD, and is pursuing a PhD focusing on cervical cancer elimination in underserved populations starting in 2024. Her clinical work is based in the North Western Sydney region as a General Practitioner.

- Cancer and reproductive/maternal/child health themes
Her 2021 publication explored expanding dietitians’ roles in gout management, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches to chronic disease care. Allyce is a RACGP Fellow and actively involved with the Australasian Association for Academic Primary Care (AAAPC) and Sydney Local Health District.
