Allison Stuewe

Allison Stuewe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Mississippi State University. A cultural anthropologist by training, her work bridges legal anthropology, migration studies, and historical political economy.

• Research focuses on refugee/migrant experiences in Arizona, Nebraska, and Germany
• Examines kinship, marriage, and family dynamics under diaspora pressures
• Current project analyzes Iraqi Yezidi refugees' marriage decisions in Germany
