Allison J. Teeples

Allison J. Teeples, DNAP, CRNA, is a full-time Lecturer at West Chester University's College of Health and Human Sciences, School of Nursing. She began her nursing career in the US Army, earning an ADN from Tarrant County College (2003), followed by a BSN from Texas Tech University Health Science Center (2006), an MS in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University (2009), and a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (2021).

Her teaching interests focus on patient safety, obesity, obstructive sleep apnea, and anesthesia for otolaryngology/head and neck procedures. Research interests include obstructive sleep apnea, ventilation strategies, and evidence-based admissions strategies. She has practiced anesthesia in diverse settings, including endoscopy centers, ambulatory surgery, and tertiary care facilities, with a preference for academic environments driven by learning and discovery.
