Dr. Allie Pohler is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Classical Studies in the Department of Modern Languages at Kansas State University. Her research examines representations of marginalized identities in classical literature through the lenses of standpoint epistemology, trauma studies, and gender theory.
She teaches courses in Latin language and classical literature, including introductory and intermediate Latin as well as mythology courses. Her research interests span Roman comedy, Greek tragedy, ancient novels, and the reception of classical texts.
