Allen Mills is a retired full professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Winnipeg. He specializes in Canadian political history, socialism, and Eastern European politics. His research includes studies on J.S. Woodsworth, Pierre Trudeau, and post-communist transitions. He has held leadership roles, including Department Chair (2000–2005, 2014–2016) and editor of government and politics entries for the Encyclopedia of Manitoba (2004–2007).
