Dr. Alize Ferrari is an Honorary Associate Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Queensland, and an Affiliate Professor of Global Health at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), University of Washington. She leads the Epidemiology and Burden of Disease Research Stream at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research and serves as Team Lead for the Mental Disorders Research Team within the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Study. As Principal Investigator on the Queensland Urban Indigenous Mental Health Survey, she conducts population-based research on mental health among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in Southeast Queensland.
