Alivia Zivich is an Adjunct Faculty/Lecturer at the College for Creative Studies (CCS Detroit) in the Studio Art & Craft department. As an artist and curator based in Detroit, her practice explores the power of images to shape thought and the role of viewers in perpetuating visual narratives.

Zivich's work combines artistic production with curatorial activism, co-founding AA Records (2005) and What Pipeline gallery (2013), which received multiple Knight Arts Challenge Awards. Her exhibitions span Detroit, Los Angeles, Rotterdam, Vienna, Tokyo, and London, including solo shows at Spaysky Fine Art Gallery and MOCAD.
