Alissar El Chediak, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in transplant nephrology with expertise in kidney, dual organ, and pancreas transplants, particularly incompatible-blood-type transplants and simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplants. Dr. El Chediak earned her medical degree and completed internal medicine residency at the American University of Beirut, followed by nephrology and transplantation fellowships at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined UT Southwestern in 2023. Her research focuses on advancing transplantation practices and managing post-transplant complications.
