Alison Wadey

Dr Alison Wadey is a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at York St John University, affiliated with the School of Science, Technology and Health. She has over 20 years of clinical experience, initially specializing in acquired brain injury but primarily working with older adults in physical health settings across acute, rehabilitation, and community care. She holds a PhD in Gerontology from the University of Southampton and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her teaching spans undergraduate (BSc Occupational Therapy) and postgraduate (MSc Pre-Registration Occupational Therapy) programs, where she leads modules such as Developing Occupational Therapy Practice and Service Development & Leadership.
