Alison Keleher

Alison Keleher serves as a Lecturer and Undergraduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She oversees academic advising, course scheduling, and dispute resolution while mentoring adjunct faculty and managing teaching associates. Keleher holds a PhD from UCSB (2005) and specializes in American Politics with emphases on campaign finance, LGBTQ politics, and political party dynamics.

Her research explores topics like evolving public support for LGBTQ equality and historical analyses of U.S. political parties. Key work includes a 2012 study on shifting attitudes toward gay rights and contributions to the Encyclopedia of U.S. Political History.
