Alison Griffiths

Dr. Alison Griffiths is an Associate Professor at Staffordshire University, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Computing. She holds a PhD in Wireless and Mobile Communications (2004), Chartered Engineer status (CEng, 2006), and a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA, 2019). Her research focuses on Smart Grids, Renewable Energy Integration, and Communication Protocols for HVDC systems. She has supervised 9 PhD students and actively participates in STEM outreach through Micro:Bit and Raspberry Pi workshops.
