Alison Forrester is a Researcher at the Laboratory of Cellular Biochemistry and Biology, Namur Research Institute for Life Sciences. Her work focuses on cellular mechanisms, including autophagy, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis, protein trafficking, and lysosomal function, with applications in dermatotoxicology and disease models. She has contributed to studies on TCDD-induced chloracne and ER-phagy in collagen regulation.

- Doctor of Science (2012), University of Newcastle upon Tyne, on aryl hydrocarbon receptor activation in chloracne models.
Her research spans ER physiology, unconventional endocytosis, and secretory pathway modulation.
