Alise Farrell

Alise Farrell, PhD, MSN, RN, CPN, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Nursing. She joined UTHSC in January 2006 after serving as faculty at the Methodist School of Nursing and working in clinical nursing administration at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Her teaching responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction for Introduction to Professional Practice and Maternal Child Health, alongside clinical coordination of the Dedicated Educational Unit at Le Bonheur.

Dr. Farrell’s research focuses on pediatric nursing, community health, and clinical outcomes in underserved populations. Her work emphasizes healthcare simulation, skills lab training, and improving care delivery in inner-city clinics. The 2002 publication on asthma outcomes in government-funded clinics highlights her commitment to public health initiatives and pediatric care.
