Dr. Alireza Rahbari is a Research Fellow at the ANU College of Systems & Society, School of Engineering. His research focuses on renewable energy systems, system-level modeling, techno-economic assessments, and heat transfer technologies. He holds two PhDs: one in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (2011) and a second in Engineering from ANU (2019). He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University and Islamic Azad University in Iran.

Advising & Grants: Dr. Rahbari advises PhD candidates interested in renewable energy and low-carbon metallurgy (contact for opportunities). His work is supported by grants from ANU’s Zero Carbon Energy for the Asia Pacific Grand Challenge program.
Labs & Teams: He contributes to the Zero Carbon Energy program at ANU, focusing on decarbonizing industries through innovative energy systems and materials.
