Aline Seepma

Dr. Aline Seepma is an Assistant Professor in the Operations Department at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). Her research focuses on public supply chain management, particularly in criminal justice, refugee services, youth care, and debt counseling. She holds a PhD from FEB (2020) titled 'Just integrating or integrating justice.'

She actively contributes to editorial boards of journals like Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) and International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM), and serves on the EurOMA Board. Seepma teaches courses in Supply Chain Management, including Purchasing and Research Methods, and has received awards such as the FEB Best Teaching Award (2024) and Best PhD Thesis Award (2020).

Her work addresses challenges in public service delivery through supply chain integration, technology adoption, and resilience strategies. Recent research includes refugee crisis analysis via supply chain lenses and digital transformation in criminal justice systems.
