Aline Meyenberg is a Research Assistant and doctoral student at the Department of Eastern European History, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, since May 2018. Her work focuses on the history of the Soviet Union, late Tsarist Empire, European memory politics, and Soviet film culture within the context of Cold War global history.

Her research intersects with themes of Soviet cultural diplomacy, film censorship, and transnational Cold War dynamics. She has contributed to teaching through courses on Soviet-US relations, European memory politics, and gender in the Russian Empire.
