Alina Tarshina

Alina Tarshina is a Researcher in the Samaritan-Hebrew Dictionary project at the Faculty of Theology of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Previously, she served as a Lecturer for Modern Hebrew at the same faculty from 2016 to 2017. Her work focuses on Samaritan language documentation, Hebrew linguistics, and lexicographical research. She is affiliated with the Samaritan Research Office and is based at the Francke Foundations (Franckeplatz 1, House 25, 2nd floor left).

Her research interests include ancient Near Eastern languages, biblical textual studies, and the cultural heritage of Samaritan communities.
