Alina Payne is the Alexander P. Misheff Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University and the Paul E. Geier Director of Villa I Tatti. Her research focuses on late medieval and early modern architecture, art theory, and the historiography of art in the Italian and Mediterranean contexts.
